Yet many female athletes add gym work without adjusting their nutrition — training harder on the same caloric intake. The nutritional demands of combined strength and endurance training are higher than either modality alone. Creatine Supplementation for Female Athletes

The weight gain from creatine loading (1–2 kg) is intracellular water within muscle fibres — not subcutaneous water or fat — and stabilises within 7–10 days.
